Some of the best bits that werent too trashed. Left to right: 1973, 1978 vw rabbit rally car, 1980 Fast 111's Mustang, 1983 p-928, 1983 cop car. I tried like hell to get the spare off the roof of the rabbit. Never did. The Mustang shows signs of dual bottle rocket exhaust on the rear paint and the fastest of them all was always the cop car.

I am irrationally envious of the p-928. That's just pure 80s kid Hot Wheels cool. Back then I didn't like the headlights. Now, I'm considering that a candidate project car. I consoled myself with re-crimping one of the engines on my childhood NASA 747 shuttle transport so my 2 year old could have it fully powered again. Apparently that's important to Thomas. I don't pretend to know why. I hope to glue the canopy back on the Matchbox SkyBuster Phantom F4E (in French air force markings? Didn't know that was a thing back then.) this weekend.

I have two of the 928 cars. Dont know why. Also have the days of thunder collectible cars....I REALLY have no idea how those didnt get blown up. Seriously I should have detonated em.
